The Weekly Atticus

This Week at Atticus Review

A recap of the week's writing at Atticus Review. Intro by Christopher Linforth.

Submissions for issue 3 are now open! We're looking for poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and mixed media. We're also open for book reviews. Submit here! Remember to take a look at our previous issues for the type of work we publish. This week I'd like to highlight a few pieces from our recent issue: Marie Craven and Jean Morris' "Metamorphosis," Charlotte Hamrick's "Déjà Rêvé in the Gulf," and Anne Lewis' "Solstitium."

On the Attic this week we announce our nominees for Best of the Net. We also showcase the cover reveal for Lori Jakiela’s memoir They Write Your Name on a Grain of Rice.

In other Atticus news, Sam Slaughter launches the debut episode of the Atticus podcast, Atticus After Dark. In this episode, Sam interviews Atticus founder, Dan Cafaro. In future episodes Sam will be interviewing a bevy of contemporary authors. Stay tuned for more!

Remember if you're in the Fountain Hills area (Arizona), stop in today to the grand opening of Atticus Books & Music!

Until next time, thanks so much for reading.
