Table 1969 and Info (Dorothy Intro) (02/29/2020)

Find Yourself at Table 1969 Next Week | The Weekly Atticus

Whether you're in San Antonio next week or not, here's what you need to know. Plus, a recap of the week's writing at Atticus Review.

It’s that time of the year again:

(the Association of Writers and Writing Programs’ annual conference). This year, a swarm of excited/anxious/possibly tipsy writers will descend upon San Antonio, TX from March 4th through the 7th. Atticus Review will set up camp at Table 1969 (with

!), where we will be selling our hot-off-the-presses

. The annual will be sold at a discounted rate, and we’ll throw in a free laptop sticker to boot.

We’re also running a “print annual selfie” contest during AWP. Share a pic featuring your copy of our latest print annual, tag us on Twitter

, and you’ll be entered to win one free contest entry for any of our upcoming contests!

Of course, we’d love for you to just come by and say “hi” if you’ll be in attendance. Our EIC

will be there, as well as fiction editor

, creative nonfiction editor

, book reviews editor

, and assistant CNF editor

.

You can also see Michelle Ross at

, March 5th, and then at the

on Friday, March 6th.

Catch Aditya Desai at “

” offsite reading (featuring the writers of Barrelhouse’s “

” issue) on Friday, March 6th, and on the AWP panel “

” on Saturday, March 7th.

Other cool events to check out: The

off-site event (featuring past fiction contest judge,

), and the inclusive/accessible

.

And before AWP, if you're local to Philadelphia, you can attend the

 we’re having with

and

, featuring Atticus contributor

on Feb. 29th—tonight!

If you won’t be at AWP, like me (*cue sad trombone*), we’ll still be publishing new writing throughout the week.

Thanks for reading. We're glad you're here.
